Simple Pulled Pork


  1. 2lb pork tenderloin, butt or shoulder.
  2. bottle of barbecue sauce (18oz.)
  3. can of root beer (12oz.)
In a slow cooker:
  • place pork in slow cooker, pour root beer over pork and cook on low for 6 hours, covered, until pork shreds easily with a fork
  • remove pork to cutting board
  • drain and discard the root beer
  • Shred pork
  • return to cooker
  • poor BBQ sauce over pork and stir

Slow Cooker Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork

from Six Sisters’ Stuff

Ingredients:

  • 1 (3 lb) pork shoulder roast
  • various seasonings (I used garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt, and ground black pepper)
  • 1 (12 oz) can Dr. Pepper soda pop
  • 1 cup BBQ sauceeatingspagetti

Directions:

  • Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Rub pork roast with various seasonings and place roast in slow cooker.
  • Pour Dr. Pepper and BBQ sauce on top of roast.
  • Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 5-6 hours.
  • Shred roast with two forks (it should fall apart easily) and serve on top of hamburger buns.

Makes about 6-8 servings.

SLOW-COOKER SALSA CHICKEN!

Makes eight 1 cup servings.

Crockpot Beef Stroganoff Recipe!

Directions
In the slow cooker stir in all the ingredients, except the meat and Cream Cheese.
Once combined add the meat and mix together.
Cook on Low for 8 hours.
Cut up the cream cheese into cubes just before serving and turn crock pot on high.
Stir the cream cheese in until all combined.
Let set for 10 minutes.
Serve over egg noodles or mashed potatoes.

Glenn's Meatball~Vegetable Soup

 

Ingredients:
  • 1 carton of Chicken Broth ( oz.) 
  • 1 package frozen vegetables
  • 2 to 3 cans of Rotel "Mild", drained
  • 12 frozen meatballs (thawed)* 
  • 3 bay leaves
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper/lemon pepper/ or seasoned pepper/ or Garlic&Pepper grinder
  • Instructions:
    Mix all in slow cooker, cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, add pasta if desired, discard bay leaves.

    *I  buy frozen meatballs at GFS, a restaurant supply store, and sometimes substitute frozen, cubed chicken.
